Job Description

As a national and well-respected insurance provider, EBM decided it was time to take back their West Perth building and make it work for them as opposed to leaving it vacant.
In order to do this, we undertook major demolition and fit out works over an extended period and even refreshed landscaping and alfresco spaces. The building has great bones which allowed us to create contemporary and practical workspaces for EBM. It has also extended the building’s lifetime and ensured EBM’s property portfolio continues to grow.

The first floor is predominantly open plan, interspersed with meeting and quiet rooms. Plus, there is a large breakout space which can double as an informal staff meeting area when required. The ground floor is occupied by the boardroom, bar, archive and reception area. And central to all spaces if the bifurcated staircase which also received an update to fit in with the new building interior. The overall result is EBM now have a building and commercial fitout that will support their business for many years to come. The interior spaces are functional, light and bright.

Extent of Work:

Design and documentation – Preparation of concepts, design development and construction drawings to meet Building Code of Australia and landlord requirements.
Building Works – Extensive demolition across all floors. Installation of new plasterboard, glazed partitioning and operable walls. Central staircase refurbishment. Feature screens to open plan workspace.
Services – Installation of electrical services including power and data. New plumbing services for all kitchens. Mechanical alterations and supply of new supplementary systems plus AV and security.
Furniture – Workstations to open plan areas and offices. New joinery to kitchens, boardroom, bar and reception. Loose furniture to all areas and extensive storage solutions to archive space.
Landscaping – Removal of existing and refurbishment of alfresco space and exterior areas.
