Fundraising enthusiasts helping those in need

While we work hard for every one of our clients to achieve the best commercial interior design and fitout result possible, we also firmly believe in helping others when we can. Bellfort plays an active part in the community, fundraising for various charities and supporting not-for-profit organisations. This page is dedicated to sharing our fundraising activities and letting you know a little about the charities that we support.

Our latest Fundraising Activities…

This year we chose to support not one but four different charities that we believe are offering invaluable support to their community.

  • Homelessness We Care – a charity providing warm food and clothing to the homeless
  • Royals Sports Club – a sporting club which focuses on underprivileged youth in the community
  • School of St Jude – a Tanzanian school teaching their students to achieve amazing things
  • ShareAfrica – an organisation supporting school children in Africa

Here are a few different ways we have been fundraising over the years

Quiz Nights

We’ve held a number of quiz nights over the past few years and they have been a resounding success. Attendance has increased and the prize pool has expanded significantly. Not only do these nights raise a lot of money to support our charities, they are also a huge amount of fun. From hard paced questions to silly hat competitions and auctions, nobody leaves empty handed.

Sausage Sizzles

Everyone knows that a trip to Bunnings is always better accompanied with a sausage in a bread roll. And what better way to raise money for charity that to sell as many of these as we can at our local store. Teamed with cold drinks, cakes and sweets, nobody can resist buying something and quite often donating more than asked for. The team work well on a daily basis and also around the BBQ.

City to Surf

A few of the team enjoy a good run and what better way to start a Sunday than participating in the annual City to Surf. And for those of us who aren’t runners, it’s great that there are different walks that we can also enter. Sponsorship is easy to get and money raised is directed to our nominated charities. Competition always spurs us on to do better and knowing that others will benefit is a great feeling.

Ability Centre Golf Day

For a few years now we have supported the Ability Centres annual fundraising golf day. Not only do a number of our team play golf, they are also very good at it and have come home with the winners trophy on a few occasions. That aside, the day is a lot of fun and the auction that follows is one that we support. Our ‘Tradie for a Day’ prizes are highly sought after and an absolute treat for the lucky bidders.

Ride to Conquer Cancer

The team has participated in the Harry Perkins Ride to Conquer Cancer event and achieved a great deal of support from clients and contractors. The total raised exceeded $12,000 and knowing that this money is put to such good use makes it so worthwhile. The event is tough but so well organised that it makes the weekend seamless enough to put that much more effort into riding to the finish line.
