Job Description

A small clinic interior design within a thriving gym, creatively designed to support its primary function combined with retail opportunities. The Activate Physio suite is a talking point for its individuality and willingness to apply finishes beyond their intended use.

Though small, this consultancy suite accommodates a functional working environment. It incorporates storage for IT equipment, patient files and ready-to-hand items to assist with treating clients. Everything is within arm’s reach, which allows this clinic to function extremely well for clients and the clinician who works within it.

The suite’s main feature is the timber vinyl that covers the floor and continues up the main storage wall, topping the curved bulkhead which covers the examination area. Within this feature-wall is a combination of storage and display alcoves and a recessed screen for client interaction. Upon entering the space, the feeling is professionally calm and inviting. The colour palette implemented for this clinic interior design creates a haven from the rigorous, adjacent gym environment.

The end result is a perfect testimony to what can be creatively achieved within a small space, tight budget and restricted timeline.

Extent of Work:

Building works – Ceiling works including installation of flush plasterboard bulkheads and feature curved ceiling. Creation of functional product display wall, storage joinery and flexible work space with meeting facility. Installation of interactive treatment wall which incorporates mirrors and pinnable areas and reference material.
Services – Integrated lighting, power and data to display wall for product display and interactive screen. New lighting and services to accommodate work area and every day use of equipment.
Furniture – Loose furniture installation including seating and storage for patient files and general use items.
