Rounding Out The 2020 Design & Fitout Year At Bellfort
Welcome to the design & fitout festive season!
How has the design & fitout year been for you? I know many of us are eager to get 2020 behind us and move into a fresh and healthy new year. However, I can’t let this year close out without spreading some Bellfort happiness, goodwill and cheer.
And even though it has been a year of many high’s and lows for a lot of people, we are very aware that it’s also turned into quite a busy year for many. Perhaps our hard borders triggered something in us Sandgropers? Whatever the case may be, hearing clients, suppliers, and most people we have spoken with express their busyness, has been fantastic. And no doubt a well-deserved festive break will be very welcome.
The Bellfort team are closing out 2020 completing a fitout for the Australian Wildlife Conservancy in Subiaco. Their new tenancy needed a lot of rescue from beige and when finished, it will look quite dynamic. We’ll be using lots of imagery and colour to add that special Bellfort oomph.
Another project we’ve had running along quietly in the background is the creation of a new bar in Subiaco called Your Local.
It won’t be opening until the first quarter of 2021, but it will definitely be worth the wait. Located within the Subiaco heritage precinct of Rokeby Road, we are transforming the derelict space into a wonderland of colour and texture to highlight some great features the building has. And soon, the drink, food, and service to flow out of Your Local will match the superior standard of our transformation.

And when speaking about projects we’ve worked on this year, I can’t help but mention the design and fit out we completed for Mammoet Australia in Henderson. This was a project that we we turned around within a limited timeframe and budget. Considering it was packed full of interesting features, everyone had a very busy time ensuring we got the best result. The photos speak for themselves. While out and about in the community creating great commercial spaces, Bellfort never forgets to help those in need whenever possible. This year, we are supporting a great charity called Mates in Construction WA. It’s an obvious choice for us, given we are in the construction business ourselves. ‘Mates’ do great work across WA’s many construction sites, offering services to people who are going through hard times. They provide outstanding suicide support assistance to anyone in need. This year has been a tough one for the construction industry and we are proud to know our support can help make a difference.
