June 2016 Bellfort Latest News
The end of financial year approaches once again. While commercial fit out life at Bellfort has been productive and exciting so far this year, just wait to see what we have in store for the rest of the year! It’s never a dull day at HQ and our teams on site are building like crazy in order to meet client deadlines and high expectations by all.
This month we have had quite a few of our commercial fit out projects proceed to the construction phase and I can honestly say that all is going exceptionally well. First on this month’s list is a co-location of Western Environmental and Coterra Environment in Prowse St, West Perth.
This tenancy has transformed over the past few weeks and has taken on it’s own personal identity. While maintaining open plan work areas for both companies, there are vibrant spaces for all to share. This includes an astro-turfed balcony that sits adjacent to a well appointed breakout space. These spaces have such a welcoming vibe that I doubt it will take long for them to be filled with beanbags and creature comforts that everyone can enjoy.
One of the striking features within this tenancy is the installation of custom designed decorative plywood panels. They will border the boardroom and working areas, defining each space.
While similar panels are available ‘off the shelf’ from a number of suppliers, we decided to give them the special Bellfort touch. Basically, create our own pattern that reflects the corporate ethos of both companies. So far, even the trial chipboard panel is getting rave reviews so I think it’s going to get loud when the real panels are installed. You can see more images on our Pinterest page.
Creative commercial fit out solutions

Another project we have commenced this month is for PCYC in Midland. This is quite a large and complex refurbishment of an existing building that has seen better days. It will no doubt be looking smarter and ready for business in a few months.
This will be following floor refurbishments, re-lining of walls, installation of new ceiling and a total transformation of the toilet and kitchen facilities. We’ll be sharing photos and more information as works progress and there is more for you to see.
Projects we are just about to commence are Doray Minerals and SLS Accounting in West Perth. Plus a small commercial fit out for the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources at Perth Airport. And don’t forget we are still working on the ground floor café at the new Children’s Hospital. This is turning out to be a very innovative and ground-breaking design and fit out. I hope that I’ll be able to share more information with you in next month’s update.
And finally, for anyone interested in helping us support Youth Focus, we will be holding a quiz night on August 25th at the Vic Hotel in Subiaco. It’s $20 per person and you can make up tables between 4-8 people. We will have great prizes for all the winners and given funds raised go towards such a worthy charity. I expect this year’s event will be as successful as the last.
