BLOG

June 2015

While it feels like we just published our May “Latest News” blog, we certainly haven’t been idle. The team have some office fitout projects well into construction. And we have a number of very happy clients which is never a bad thing.

The ILC fitout project in Cockburn is mid way and the guys on site have become curve-wall specialists. The majority of walls curve on the horizontal plane as you would expect them to. But we are also curving them vertically, which is creating a really interesting space and definitely keeping the boys occupied. Combine these mind defying curves with a floating bulkhead disc and the overall effect is outstanding. It’s also really nice to be constructing this office fitout. We know the use it will soon be getting will be so worthwhile to many people in the community.

Creative office fitout to suit your business is our speciality

Our UNIR office fitout is also full steam ahead with setout complete and services underway. This interior is going to combine an interesting mix of old and new. We’ll be mixing weathered curved grilles as feature bulkheads and suspended chandeliers. We are also making the most out of the existing 4.5m high ceiling with increased glazing to the offices and boardroom.

We have also managed to upcycle some existing furniture which will be supplemented by new workstations in the open plan area. The overall interior is definitely going to leave anyone who enters it with an impressive first impression.

Other office fitout projects we have running concurrently with ILC and UNIR include a relocation for Global Advanced Metals in West Perth, minor works for Mader Contracting in Kewdale and more work for CGG, this time within their Jandakot premises. Not to mention the mezzanine for Stonewest in Ellenbrook is underway and soon to be on site. All I can say is we are busy but also very much enjoying the exciting work that we have.

On a lighter note, you may recall that we are now fundraising for Youth Focus, as mentioned in last month’s “Latest Bellfort News” blog. To kick things off nicely, the team pulled together and provided a sausage sizzle on June 27th at Bunnings in East Vic Park. It was an outstanding success and we raised in excess of $1,100. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and supported us.

We are now looking into other fundraising activities to help support this valuable charity and of course, we are entering this year’s City to Surf to help boost the fundraising total. We’ll no doubt be letting you know what the next venture is as soon as it’s organised. If you would like to catch up on our other recently published blogs, head over to our blog page.
