Commercial Fitout – Award Winning – Education & Learning

You may recall us sharing photos and information about the School of Early Learning commercial fitout project in North Fremantle. We were so pleased with the result and the hard work that everyone involved contributed to this project. To achieve such an amazing result for an education & learning commercial fitout is something we are really proud of. Projects like this don’t come along every day. Essentially, we are so proud of what has been achieved.

This particular commercial fitout had us working within a heritage building, creating workable interior spaces for staff and children. Spaces to enjoy and harmonise the “old” interior with the new surrounding landscape and play areas.

The building itself has beautiful features. These were a treated to enhance each room and of course they are a great compliment to the interior feel. Most of the timber floors were in poor condition. As a result, they needed a lot of attention throughout the sanding and restoration process.

A number of window and door frames also needed special attention. Luckily, the overall building itself was quite sound. Considering the traffic it was soon to receive, that was quite a relief.

To top off such a successful project, we have just been advised that it is a 2015 Conservation and Heritage award winner. This award was definitely unexpected but very much welcomed by everyone involved. This education & learning commercial fitout is a tribute to the past and future minds it will encourage to grow.
