What are we up to?
Here’s hoping you have started winding down for the year and are managing to take some time-out to relax. The Bellfort design and fitout year has been a good year and I can only wish this success for everyone.
And even though it is the festive season, our team is still out there, tackling the projects that keep coming our way. Even if it is starting to heat up and others seem to be in the party mode. I guess that’s proof of the dedication and Bellfort commitment that we apply to every design and fitout project.
Schools are on the agenda
We have recently completed work within the uniform shop at Vic Park Primary School. This incorporated joinery installation and refurbishing the existing interior. Labour and materials were donated by Bellfort for this project. We often look at different ways to give back to the community and this is just one of the ways we can help.
And this week, the team has commenced a new project for Perth College in Mount Lawley. We are demolishing the existing Student Hub and creating a new, fresh and functional work environment.
This new interior will accommodate offices for Deans and an open workspace for administration staff. We’ve also factored in efficient storage and working areas for all staff to access. Works are scheduled over the Christmas holidays of course, and we are working to a strict deadline to ensure this new area is ready for the 2017 school year. The Bellfort team was happy to accept the challenge and they are currently up to their armpits in demolition. We’ll be sharing photos across our social media and project gallery as work progresses so stay tuned.
Rounding out our school focus is a small project for Rockingham Montessori School. This will involve creating new classrooms for senior and junior schools within the Murdoch University Rockingham campus. We will also be making good their existing occupied rooms once they move into their new home.
Our design and fitout year has been a good one!
To finish up 2016, we have also just completed a refurbishment for the Stirling Business Enterprise in Balcatta. New building works have provided additional collaborative work areas and the interior is looking much more interesting now.
Still in Balcatta, we have been carrying out minor works for DX Platforms on their existing premises. We are also in the design stage of reconfiguring their interior to incorporate their structured expansion.
This will be quite an interesting project with high-tech security and a strong customer focus to integrate within the new interior. You will hear much more regarding this next year, as we progress from the initial design stages.
To help celebrate the festive season, we applied our creative spirit to a number of our clients located in the CBD and West Perth. Presents at this time of year can often be a bit tricky however, not for Bellfort! With the help of Sweetfayz Cake Design, we gifted replica buildings made in cake. Unusual, yes. Tasty, of course. Memorable, you betcha!
Finally, I would like to extend a very happy Christmas to everyone. I sincerely hope next year is a success for all and that you enjoy your well-deserved break.
