April 2015

April has proven to be another busy month in the office design and fitout industry as we tackle numerous projects. Concepts and preliminary building works for a new office design and fitout for Catholic Homes in Burswood are almost complete. This three storey site has it’s challenges, like all office design and fitout projects. The lift installation will require careful design and planning to ensure it easily assimilates within the intended interior space. The team have commenced demolition works which has highlighted some structural deficiencies that we are now rectifying. It’s an exciting project and everyone involved is very focused on delivering a superior design and fitout result.

We have also been busy with new DHS (Department of Human Services) projects in Cannington, Bunbury, Northbridge and Osborne Park. Plus, we have won another project in Joondalup which will kick of next month.

Bellfort office design and fitout concept a winner!

Bellfort have also been awarded the new office design and fitout for the Independent Living Centre in Cockburn. Our presentation won the majority vote amongst key stakeholders at ILC. We are really pleased to be given the opportunity to design this space. It will showcase how living environments can be transformed to support whatever physical or mental disability you may have. And we believe it will be a valuable asset for many people to utilise.

Bellfort has also been in print a few times this month. we had a feature article published in the Australian Business News Source magazine, as well as an editorial in the 51st edition of Architect & Builder magazine. Both can be viewed on our Blog page under “Bellfort in The News”. Take a look at some of our other blogs while you are there. Baxter has been up to his usual tricks with his cheeky thoughts and comments on design and fitout.

And to top off another brilliant month, work within our own office is almost complete. If you follow us on Facebook, you may have already seen some of the photos taken but we will definitely be sharing more of the finished result as soon as we are able to. We even have a photo of John & Sean commencing the Bellfort Nail Table. It just looks brilliant and you wouldn’t believe the comments and interest we get from people who visit or even just passers by. We may have to start selling tickets! I guess you could say that our expertise in design and fitout continues to strengthen with each project that comes our way.
