Job Description

As an international property investment company, UNIR were looking for a purpose-built, high quality interior to match their corporate profile. High attention to detail and level of finishes were important and needed to reflect UNIR’s cultural ideology. The original tenancy features high warehouse-like ceilings with exposed timber beams and structural elements. Existing timber floors were an added bonus although they required refurbishment.

Visually, the interior had a lot of interesting features but acoustically, it was challenged. The new design needed to blend existing features and introduce sound attenuation in a stylish manner to ensure the expected high-end finished look was achieved.

The final result is a classy and inspiring entry which features hand-cut chandeliers suspended below curved mesh panels. The boardroom sets the bar for the corporate feel and work areas are functional but still look great.

Extent of Work:

Design, documentation & approvals – Preparation of concepts, design development and construction drawings to meet Building Code of Australia, state & local government requirements.
Building Works – Installation of new plasterboard and glazed partitioning to create meeting and office areas. Custom designed curved mesh ceiling panels, installed as canopies over work areas and entrance corridor. Feature timber columns to delineate different working areas and help with reticulation of service.
Services – Bellfort design and installation of new electrical services including lighting, power and data. Upgrade to existing plumbing services supporting kitchen / breakout facilities.
Furniture – Installation of workstations in open plan and office areas. Loose furniture installation including benches, tables and seating. Custom designed joinery to the boardroom and breakout space.
Branding – Customised corporate graphics installed on glazing. ‘Halo’ signage upon entering the tenancy corridor.
