This global and forward-thinking corporation saw the value in consolidating multiple accommodation sites into one building. The aim of which was to provide better work flow, communication and collaboration amongst all staff.
Following an extensive brief taking exercise, Bellfort designed and constructed two floors for CGG which provided the basis for a dynamic change in the corporate structure. Communication and collaboration became key influencers when creating new open plan workstations in conjunction with confidential work areas. Customised workstations provide an abundance of storage options and work space for individuals. A major relocation of the CGG data centre was factored into the project which involved a lot of concise planning and scheduling to ensure downtime did not impact on the business. Meeting areas, client rooms and an extensive boardroom were built to accommodate the latest AV systems.
The interior space is bright and functional. All client rooms are technologically impressive and welcoming. The new office provides a combination of work spaces and work rooms which accommodate staff interaction and privacy as required. Superior attention to detail has allowed CGG to move into its new premises and continue its business without any issues.
Extent of Work:
Building works – Acoustically treated partitioning, glazing and feature walls throughout the two floors. Acoustic treatments to ceilings and bulkheads. Customised data centre caging with tamper proof perimeters. Feature flooring to reception and breakout spaces. Glazing graphics and corporate branding throughout the tenancy and building exterior.
Services – Modifications to existing lighting, mechanical, fire and electrical services including CBUS systems. Installation of new plumbing to suit multiple breakout areas. Extensive AV installation across both floors.
Furniture – Custom built joinery reception, boardroom, client rooms and breakout areas. Customised storage to accommodate department confidentiality requirements. Workstations with customized storage. All loose furniture including seating, tables and storage.
